I have a degree in nutritional science and a diploma in naturopathic medicine (Ontario Canada, unregistered). These days, I’m of best use to those having confusing pain patterns and mood changes. With all the Autoimmunity, Syndromes, and Dys-Regulations going on, the nervous system can get really overwhelmed.
Your thoughts and feelings (especially the invasive ones) are important. So are your body temperature fluctuations, your sleep, your anxiety, your indigestion, and whatever else is going on.
My job is to recognize and bring to each appointment what’s needed for you to effectively get past the things that are blocking your progress. If humour is needed, humour is what I’ll use. If you need me to sit quietly with you while you face some difficult truths, that’s what I’ll do.
I see you as an individual with a unique personality, unique super-powers, and unique vulnerabilities.
….I also see you as a fully functioning nervous system, which might feel a bit odd to you at first. You’ll get used to it. ☺️ I think you’ll find this ‘uniqueness’ of mine to be quite useful.

The first 15 minutes of the initial visit is free, no obligation. This ensures that you can give this a try without wasting precious time or money. If you choose to continue, the initial visit costs $80 and lasts between 60 and 90 minutes depending on your needs.

Follow up visits vary, and are time-flexible, according to your immediate needs and choices.

If you’re not sure, might I suggest making 2 simple lists - your unique super-powers, and your unique vulnerabilities. These could be super-powers and vulnerabilities of any nature, from strong muscles to certain artistic abilities. From social anxiety to iron deficiency. List whatever you can think of, and let’s start there.
I don’t like getting too detailed about past experiences. I find this to be unproductive. Instead, I encourage you to focus on what’s going on in your nervous system, from moment to moment and from thought to thought. You’ll learn a lot about your body this way.
By our third appointment, you’ll probably notice that you understand your mind and your body better.
This leads to more harmony in the mind-body connection,
Which leads to better emotional and mental self-regulation.
And often leads to better physical health. …….Bonus!
I find that when we get overwhelmed, we get less productive.
This makes the overwhelm worse, and we end up repeating an unhealthy habit. We feel stuck, and we try not to think about it unless we have to.
I find that the quickest way out of this mental trap is to ask ourselves,
“What’s the best thing for me to do in this particular moment?”
Then wait for the answer to come from the body.
